3 must-have sourcing plugins for all recruiters

I hope you enjoy reading this blog post.

If you want to find out how to recruit faster book a demo.

At a time when 80% of potential candidates are passive candidates – hiring the best person for the job requires reaching candidates i.e. via active search.

But where and how to do it? We can broadly define sourcing as all of a recruiter’s activities aimed at finding and attracting a candidate – usually just the passive one.

Sourcing candidates can take place on many platforms, depending on the type of talent or skills being sought. However, everything happens online – that’s why sourcing plugins can help you!

Here are my top3 sourcing plugins:

HUNTER

Hunter is a browser plug-in that is used to find and verify email addresses of people associated with a specific web domain.

The tool greatly simplifies the sourcing process by offering recruiters the ability to reach candidates directly. This is really valuable in industries where quick and direct contact with candidates can significantly speed up and streamline the recruitment process.

Hunter allows you to find the email addresses of a company’s employees quickly. This works by typing the company’s domain name into the plugin, which then displays a list of all emails associated with that domain.

Hunter offers a function for verifying email addresses, which is useful for confirming their validity and effectiveness before sending messages. So it will also help you avoid sending messages to outdated or incorrect addresses.

Here’s how it handled my email address:

In addition to my email address, Hunter also shows which Web sites it found it on.

You can search for profiles of interesting candidates on LinkedIn and then use Hunter to find their email addresses. The Hunter plug-in is available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers.

SKRAPP

Skrapp is a web browser plug-in and online tool used to find and collect email addresses of business-related people. It is especially useful for sales and recruiting professionals who need an effective tool to generate leads and directly reach out to potential clients or candidates.

Skrapp is a powerful sourcing tool that simplifies the process of collecting contact information for recruiters and enables effective networking.

How can Skrapp be used for sourcing?

Skrapp integrates with LinkedIn, allowing users to extract email addresses directly from profiles on LinkedIn. This allows recruiters to easily identify and connect with potential candidates.

Skrapp can also be used to extract email addresses from company websites, which is useful when recruiters want to target people working in specific companies or industries.

The Skrapp plugin did a great job of finding my email address:

  • Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, GitHub, X, Dribbble, Wykop, Behance and Stackoverflow – where it works in manual mode:

Team sourcing with your team with this plugin is even easier!

With just a glance at the sourcing plugin, you’ll know who you already know and who doesn’t yet have a relationship with your company. But you can also check your application history and enrich your profile with additional notes, tags or Talents. Without leaving the tab you’re viewing!
