It’s a significant moment in our history, and because it’s always better to celebrate birthdays together, we’d like to share with you our 10-year journey, from both the product and the company perspective. Our core values

There’re five major things that define TRAFFIT as a company, place to work and its culture. But before we say something more about it, it’s really important to know how we figured that out. We did have different core values a few years ago, but at some point we felt it’s not something reflecting the company. So with the management we prepared new propositions and discussed them with our employees, so everyone could say at the end that this is true, this is how it is at TRAFFIT and they feel them. This way, together we came up with five core values which are the reflection of our everyday’s work and culture.

TRAFFIT Graveyard

Welcome to TRAFFIT Graveyard! A place where we share our projects and initiatives that we hoped to be amazing but their results were not so good – nicely speaking. Some of them are still functioning but probably this is the first time you hear about them. And that’s why we put them on the graveyard.

Candidate internal and external recommendation platform for our users. We spent lots of time and money for it and we still see there’s a room for improvement when it comes to promoting this idea among our users.
We bought plants and pots with a sticker saying “Growing with TRAFFIT” as a symbol of potential cooperation with TRAFFIT which were given to our office neighbours. They accepted the gifts but nobody return to grow with us.
We thought it was cool to create a card game for our friends and business partners. So we did it but without really answering why did we do this so it was sent mainly to our Owocowe Wtorki HR podcast guests, hosted by TRAFFIT CEO Adriana Wolak, because we didn’t really have any other idea.
In October 2020 we recorded our first video “Ghosting Busters” who fight with ghosting in recruitment. Our goal was to fight with ghosting in real life and invite companies to join by adding a hashtag #wedonotghost in their job descriptions. Unfortuntaley, nobody joined our campaign. Or at least we’re not aware of it
Project that was supposed to raise awareness of analytics in recruitment. As part of this initiative we interviewed people on the street and asked them about statistics in recruitment processes. It wasn’t easy to convince them to stand in front of a camera but finally we had the material we wanted. Sadly, not so many people saw it.
HR courses recorded in English as a second edition of TRAFFIT Campus initiative. It was released a few months after TRAFFIT Campus 1.0.. and way less people bought it. Even though we have our potential reasons why it turned out not to be so great in terms of purchase, we still don’t know exactly what caused such a difference between 1.0. and 1.5.
As a company, unfortunately, we can’t give a job to every applying person. So we thought it’d be great to find companies with similar values to ours and with great work environment who actively were hiring. We gathered chosen companies together and listed their job offers on one website which was sent to our Talent Pool as a job opportunity.
Project which was supposed to connect recruitment agencies with clients and help clients find the right agencies. Quite demanding initiative that didn’t result in many business connections.

It still feels like the beginning.

Reaching 10 years has been the perfect reason to stop and reflect on just how far we have come from the early days of TRAFFIT. However, I’m happy we still feel like we are at the beginning of our journey.

Recruitment is constantly changing. Recruiters and hiring managers alike are still finding out about the benefits of HR technology everyday. TRAFFIT is going to be there for them when they do. The amazing TRAFFIT team continues to make hiring both easier and more enjoyable for both our customers, and their candidates.

TRAFFIT Starts

In 2014, as a result of various random circumstances, TRAFFIT starts. Adrian Wolak has the idea and the product, while Mariusz Bessman and Bartosz Cieśliński support the creation of TRAFFIT financially and with their business experience. This great combination results in a company that, after 10 years, becomes the provider of the fastest-growing ATS in Poland. Fun fact – The product itself has changed in terms of appearance and functionality over the course of 10 years. However, the TRAFFIT logo has remained unchanged since the very beginning :)

First employee

First employees join TRAFFIT: Lukasz Makurat – our Backend Developer, Kacper Czechowicz – Frontend Developer and Bartek Bujnowski our IT Architect. After 9 years, Bujno still workes with us! We’re very lucky to have him in TRAFFIT Team this whole time.

Career page generator for our users

We enabled our users to generate a career page on their own! They can post new jobs on the newly created page directly from the ATS. Also, there’s a possibility to update the content anytime, keeping their potential candidates up-to-date with the company’s everyday life, benefits, team, and open jobs.

TRAFFIT embraces GDPR

TRAFFIT takes care of new candidates data protection regulations for our users. Our ATS helps recruiters to make sure their application forms are GDPR-compliant.

We run our conference

The idea behind it was to create an event focused only on giving practical knowledge from the HR experts without any sales and unnecessary bullshit. We had amazing speakers on the stage: Maja Gojtowska, Anna Mikulska and Adrian Jachimiuk, Marcin Sieńczyk, Sławek Łuczywek, Mateusz Macha, Maciej Mazurek and Zuzanna Woźniak-Przybyszewska. Our conference attendted more than 120 people and content wise, it was a huge success! Yet, we learned after the event that the next time we need to watch the time more carefully because we had “small” delays.

TRAFFIT 2.0

In 2019, we released a new version of TRAFFIT 2.0! TRAFFIT 2.0 bringed new innovation interface but ur focus extended beyond aesthetics. TRAFFIT 2.0 introduces also a range of impressive features, developed in direct response to valuable feedback from our users.

Pandemy starts and TRAFFIT helps!

When pandemy began, we all had to adjust to the new reality which was challenging for many people. That’s why we decided to help and created TRAFFIT Pomaga initiative. As we know recruitment most, we prepared a special candidate database, connecting unemployed individuals with recruiters who were looking for candidates to fill the roles during that period. Also, in the database, people willing to support those in need during this difficult time, could also register and we connected them with other institution looking for volunteers. TRAFFIT Pomaga was promoted in the radio, newspapers, Internet portals and even TVN24 so we managed to connect many people with each other!

100% focus on SaaS

2020 marked a pivotal chapter in our journey, emerging as one of the most significant years in our company’s history. It was a year of strategic refocusing and a bold step towards honing our core mission. We decided to conclude all side projects, channeling our energy, resources, and creativity solely into our SaaS business. Hiring Mick Griffin as our Chief Growth Officer heralded a new era of strategic expansion and innovation. Bringing with him a wealth of experience in developing SaaS businesses, Mick’s insight and leadership have been instrumental in steering our SaaS offering to new heights. This strategic pivot to a 100% focus on SaaS, combined with Mick’s expertise, has set us on an adventure of discovery, challenges, and tremendous growth.

Meeting with Facebook

Two amazing things happened in 2020 as part of our cooperation. Firstly TRAFFIT was invited to be the first Polish ATS to have direct integration with Facebook Jobs. We served thousands of jobs via our customer to the Facebook Jobs portal that saw the most success in blue collar candidates. Furthermore TRAFFIT was inducted to the Small Business Success Stories by Facebook for the CEE region. This was a great honour for the company, and included a super interesting discussion with Sheryl Sandberg, who was COO of Facebook at the time.

TRAFFIT Pathways, meaning 100% transparency

In 2021, we disclosed our employees salaries internally and also made this information publicly available within the TRAFFIT Pathways initiative. As an organization, we have always been guided by the principle of “No-bullshit,” but since sharing our earnings, we knew that our next value, which we want to adhere to not only in the area of ​​salaries but also in every aspect of the company, is transparency. We wanted everyone working at TRAFFIT to have access to all information 100%, so in our communication, we talk about everything openly, allowing employees to focus on their own and the company’s development.

Linkedin integration

In Feb of 2021 Linkedin invited TRAFFIT to be the first Polish ATS to integrate directly with Linkedin Job Listings. Since that time we have posted many roles on Linkedin, and it has been our leader for candidate applications sources in both 2022 and 2023. Since then linkedin has not only been a value partner for our customers, but an integral part of how we grow TRAFFIT as a business through it’s fantastic portal.

Owocowe Wtorki - podcast

In 2021, we launched “Owocowe wtorki” a podcast specifically created for the HR industry. This series is your ultimate guide to all things HR. Hosted by Adrian, along with a variety of expert guests, “Owocowe wtorki” delves into critical topics such as employer branding, HR trends, recruitment strategies, onboarding processes, and worthwhile benefits to invest in. 80 episodes recorded 200k views

TRAFFIT Campus 2.0 starts

The mission was simple – high-end knowledge at your fingertips! Hence the excellent experts shared their knowledge in two Polish editions of the course. Natalia Florek, Maja Gojtowska, Mateusz Jabłonowski, Ania Morawiec-Bartoscik, Marta Pawlak-Dobrzańska, Joanka Stefaniak, Karol Szczawiński and Ula Zając-Pałdyna – from them we received over 8 hours of intellectual delight in the form of videos, tests and materials!

We improved automation 2.0 & allow integration

Our users can speed up the communication with automated messages for candidates and hiring managers. Also, they can take their recruitment more effective by making smart automations with other tools that they use.

Unlimited Paid Holidays

We came to the moment at TRAFFIT where we put a strong emphasis on giving full responsibility for each employee and 100% trust because we treat each other as adults whom we can rely on. Based on that we came into conclusion that employees themselves know best how to manage their work and private life. That’s why we implemented Unlimited Paid Holidays to give them freedom to manage their time how they feel it’s more suitable for them and to achieve the business goals. At first, it was supposed to be a trial period to see if it worked. It did. People took their time off more than usual and achieved their goals so UPH function until today.

TRAFFIT Connect begins

We got the best out of the conference. Networking! And that’s how TRAFFIT Connect was created. You won’t find any sales presentations here. In fact, you won’t find… any presentations at all. But 120% focus on relationships and valuable conversations. Business is about relationships, and relationships are all about people. TRAFFIT Connect means meetings in the best company, full of gripping conversations, smiles, and snacks. In addition to meeting new friends and building relationships, our guests have a great time developing themselves, making new friends, and making business connections.

Reports

We introduced a new report module which allow our users to drive insights from detailed data about their processes. They can use our recruitment report for better business decisions.

TRAFFIT opens to AI

We see a big potential in AI as a support for recruiters. So we introduced it in our tool and now recruiters can write job posts for TRAFFIT users in their chosen tone. Also, AI helps them to analyze their recruitment data and give proposal what they can improve so their processes are even more effective.

HR people starts to read with TRAFFIT Library

Since October, we have launched a unique library. It’s a source of HR (and not only) knowledge and inspiration. It’s also a community that gives books a second life and wants to share knowledge together. How? We encourage our readers to make notes in books, add their thoughts, and highlight valuable passages. This way, books available in the TRAFFIT Library gain even more value! Since the library’s launch, over 600 people have registered, and the books we send out for free travel an average of 50,000 km per month. Will you join us?
